An Insight into the Journeys of Elizabeth Bailey, Elise Oliver, and Amelia Brandon

In commemoration of Female Football Week, we are privileged to present the remarkable stories of three distinguished athletes who have progressed through Northern Suburbs Football Association clubs, into the Northern Tigers Football Club: Elizabeth Bailey, Elise Oliver, and Amelia Brandon.

Meet Elizabeth Bailey, a player with seven years of experience under her belt. From Turramurra United to Lindfield and now Northern Tigers, Elizabeth’s journey through the football world has been nothing short of extraordinary. Inspired by her dad’s love for the game, Elizabeth’s infectious enthusiasm and joyful spirit light up the field.

Her message to aspiring players? There’s never a wrong time to join the sport, but the sooner, the better – because you’re missing out on all the fun!

Next up, we have Elise Oliver, a true footballer with 11 years of playing experience. Currently tearing up the field with Northern Tigers Under 18s, Elise’s journey started with her home team, Hornsby Heights. Inspired by her family and the desire to follow in her brothers’ footsteps, Elise’s fondest memories on the pitch are the friendships forged and the countless adventures shared.

Her advice to newcomers? Get in there and give it your all – because football isn’t just a sport, it’s a lifelong journey filled with endless possibilities!

Last but certainly not least, say hello to Amelia Brandon, a rising star in Northern Tigers Under 16s. With five years of football behind her, Amelia’s journey began with Lindfield Football Club before finding her home with Northern Tigers. Inspired by her father’s love for the game and their shared backyard kickabouts, Amelia cherishes the sense of community and support that football brings.

Her invitation to those on the fence? Jump in and join the fun – because in football, you’ll find friends for life and a whole lot of joy along the way!

As we celebrate the accomplishments of Elizabeth, Elise, Amelia, and countless other female athletes during Female Football Week, it is imperative to acknowledge the invaluable contributions of organizations such as Beyond Bank Australia. Their steadfast commitment to empowering women in sport and fostering inclusivity resonates deeply with the ethos of Female Football Week, reinforcing the importance of equitable opportunities and representation within the sporting landscape.
