Game Leaders

The role of the GAME LEADER is to facilitate the game on the weekend, ensuring all players stay true to the rules of the game and everyone is included and enjoying themselves. Within NSFA we have slightly altered MiniRoos rules which can be downloaded below. NSFA encourages all coaches, managers and parents to familiarise yourself with these rules and have a copy prepared on game day.

The most notable difference is in the Under 8 to Under 11 age groups during a goal line restart. During a goal line restart in Under 8 and Under 9, the opposition MUST stay behind the half way line until another player of the possession team touches the ball. During a goal line restart in Under 10 and Under 11, the opposition MUST stay 15 metres back until another player of the possession team touches the ball. Please see the below downloadable NSFA MiniRoos playing rules and formats for your viewing.
