The Northern Suburbs Football Association (NSFA) is the organising body that administers community football in the northern suburbs region of Sydney, New South Wales.
Formed in 1957 as the Ku-ring-gai & District Soccer Association, the NSFA runs football competitions across men’s, women’s, mixed, boys and girls divisions for its 30 member clubs, which range from Brooklyn on the banks of the Hawkesbury River down to North Sydney United on the northern shores of Sydney Harbour.
At its heart, the NSFA is driven by its key objective of making football simple, fun and rewarding for all players, coaches, referees and volunteers. This is a joint effort with all member clubs and the Ku-ring-gai & District Football Referees Association.
In addition to community football, the NSFA also offers a variety of representative programs though Northern Tigers Football Club as a means of progression for talented local players and coaches, with teams in the Men’s League One, Women’s NPL 1, Boys Youth League One, Girls Youth League One and Mixed and Girls Skill Acquisition Programs.
