Youth Coach Development Program
The NSFA Youth Coach Development Program is a coach education program for young adults, 15 – 22 years of age.
This program is exclusive to NSFA members, with the aim to upskill young football lovers from the region. Participants are required to attend all sessions of the program and will gain their FA Skill Training Certificate as a result.

MiniRoos Grassroots Course

Course Overiew
The NSFA MiniRoos Certificate is FREE OF COST to all participants.
The MiniRoos Certificate is designed for coaches/managers/volunteers involved with age groups Under 6 – Under 11. The course is focussed on creating an ENGAGING, ENJOYABLE and ORGANISED environment, to guide our children to fall in love with football.
Participants will learn:
- How to set up fun games and activities
- How to deliver games and activities
- How to organise players / teams
- How to modify activities to increase player enjoyment and engagement
- How to approach game day
- The match day rules of the various MiniRoos age groups

The module will cover the following topics:

- Holistic Coach Development
- Football Australia Coaching Process
- SAP and Game Training Overview
- Managing Others
- Training Environment
If you are not a member of the NSFA, this module will cost $20.00. You will be invoiced prior to the module commencing.
Block 2 – How We Coach
You must have completed Block 1 before attending this session if you intend to complete the Formal Learning Pathway to receive your Skill Training or Game Training Certificate.
