On Sunday 1st July NSFA and Northern Tigers FC were represented by 33 aspiring Pararoos, taking part in the 10th Annual Football4All gala day, hosted by Football NSW.
The Football4All gala day, in its 10th year, brings together Football NSW Football4all programs from throughout the state to compete in a gala day. This year, NSFA and Northern Tigers FC partnered with Cerebral Palsy Alliance through the Pararoos Development Centre to enter FOUR teams. NSFA was further represented by local club St Ives FC, who entered two teams.
“The Football4All gala day is a highlight in the NSW footballing calendar. It was great to have our Pararoos Development Centre represented so well this year, especially our Pararoos players taking on the head coach roles for the day,” commented Ed Ferguson, NSFA Community Football Manager.
“It was great to see the smiles, enjoyment and energy the day created. I take my hat off to Football NSW, the players and all the volunteers that made the day possible. This is something I hope continues for a further 10 years and beyond to bring awareness and strength to all football competitions and opportunities in Australia.”
NSFA would also like to thank the following people for making the day run smoothly:
Peter King – Celebral Palsy Alliance
Sue and Sally – CPA
Ben Atkins – Pararoos player
Ben Sutton – Pararoos player
Taj Lynch – Pararoos player
Di Alagich – Coach
