Coaching Scholarship Winners Announced

Northern Suburbs Football is pleased to announce the Coaching Scholarship winners for 2017.

Community Football Manager Ed Ferguson was thrilled with the amount and experience of the applicants stating;

“It is very pleasing to have received so many applicants from a wide range of NSFA clubs. Each applicant had a unique set of skills, with many dedicating significant time in progressing themselves as coaches and also their local clubs football programs”

With over 16,500 playing members and over 1,200 coaches currently involved in 2017, a core aim of NSFA is to increase the quality of football for all players involved in the game through the continued education and investment into coaching.

Ed Ferguson continued:

“The coaching scholarships awarded are an integral investment to improving the football experience of all our members. Through the upskilling and support provided to the scholarship winners we are seeking to share and grow the amount of football educated people involved in our game at the grassroots level”.

Each successful candidate will receive the following investment to kick start their first step into the advanced coach education pathway set out by FFA.

  • Fee covered for FFA Advanced C-Licence Youth course ($1,155)
