Female Football Week has kicked off with a bang with so many Clubs getting involved in celebrating female participation in the game! It has been great seeing Clubs post on social media in appreciation of the many female role models and participants as well as all the events happening in honour of this special week. Let us have a look at some of the highlights!
On the weekend, Asquith Soccer Club celebrated Female Football with a fun day filled with soccer, food and face painting. Female players of all ages got together for a group photo!
West Pymble FC have their celebrations underway after hosting a Soccer Zumba event and Girls Movie Night on the weekend, followed by a Female Coaches Workshop last night.
Northern Galaxy welcomed Female Football Week with the launch of their brand-new purple and black uniform. It looks great girls!
Over the week, Lane Cove are making appreciation posts for females involved in the club. This is a great way to acknowledge and help us get to know some of the brilliant females of the sport, whether players or coaches.
