“I’m incredibly proud to be appointed CEO of NSFA. I love this Association. I’ve spent years around it, on the pitch, on the sideline, and behind the scenes, and I know how much it means to the people who are part of it. Leading NSFA matters to me because of the role it plays in the lives of so many people involved in the game.

My commitment is to run an Association that clubs can rely on, staff are proud to work for, and the broader football community respects. That means strong governance, clear and fair decisions, and a long-term focus on the health, stability, and growth of the game. I’m genuinely excited to lead NSFA into its next chapter.” – David Taylor.

“David’s appointment provides continuity of leadership, stable oversight of NSFA’s day-to-day operations, and a strong ongoing focus on supporting our clubs as we move toward the 2026 season and deliver the final year of the 2023–2026 Strategy. The Board warmly congratulates David for his contribution to date and his professional approach to the recruitment process. We look forward to the future and all that that brings. Congratulations David”. – Nicole Cole

David’s appointment marks an important moment for the Association as it continues work across governance, facilities, participation, and competition structures. The focus moving forward is stability, high standards, and disciplined decision making, with the aim of supporting clubs, volunteers, referees, and players and ensuring the long term strength of football across the Northern Suburbs.
