Our very own Fin Geraghty (pictured right) was awarded the Young Coach of the Year award at the Sport NSW Community Awards at CommBank Stadium.
Fin has become a player favourite throughout NSFA with his involvement in many Clubs through XLR8 Player Development and Northern Tigers FC as well as a local Men’s Premier League player.
Fin has always showed great care for his players and is well deserving of this recognition.
We reached out to Fin to hear his thoughts on this recognition, he stated;
“I am deeply humbled, honoured and grateful. I’d like to extend my gratitude to our entire NSFA Community.
NSFA Coaches have been inspiring and empowering me since I was 7 years old.
NSFA Coaches have been my best role models and my greatest friends.
NSFA Coaches have changed my world – and as an NSFA Coach I strive to change worlds. I love our community. I love the game, and I love the players.”
