New Course Structure
Since the launch of the new NSFA coaching structure, NSFA has seen 66 Coaches participate in the Block 1 – Introduction to Coaching Module. 66 new coaches have upskilled themselves, tested their knowledge and challenged their thinking around coach development within NSFA. NSFA Coach Developers Jake Stephenson, Jaswinder Virdee, David Neale, Andrew Galbraith and Jeremy Ferral-Smith felt the participants have been a pleasure to work with so far on these modules. They’ve been actively engaged in the online modules, discussing scenarios, real-life case studies and learning about the Footballing structures and developmental phases in Australia.
NSFA has also worked in partnership with Lindfield FC’s CCC Luke Harris delivering a bespoke Block 1 course working with 22 new Lindfield FC coaches between the age of 15-18 years of age. In addition, NSFA subsequently also delivered the new NSFA Block 2 – How We Coach to those individuals the following weekend. The module was delivered at Queen Elizabeth Reserve and provided many insights into applying the theory of Block 1, into the practical delivery of these components in Block 2. NSFA also welcomed trainee NSFA Coach Developer Lorin Lambert into the delivery of these modules.

- Block 3 GT – Game Training Coaching – 13th March, 9am-1pm, Norman Griffiths Oval
- Block 3 GT – Game Training Coaching – 21st March, 5pm-9:30pm, Norman Griffiths Oval

NSFA & Sydney FC CCC and Coaches Event
Last Saturday, NSFA organised in a fantastic evening working with Sydney FC’s coach development and engagement team.
It was great to see many NSFA CCC’s and coaches involved in a Sydney FC Coaching workshop, observing the on-pitch warm-up and collaborating in a fun and relaxed environment!
A big thanks to Tuna Guner (SFC Engagement Officer) and Howard Fondyke (SFC NPL First Grade Assistant Coach) for their support with this event.
