Running For Premature Babies is back for 2023!

Running For Premature Babies is back for 2023!

The Northern Suburbs Football Association (NSFA) has pledged its support for Running for Premature Babies (RFPB), a charity dedicated to raising funds for neonatal research and equipment in Australia.

RFPB was established in 2007 by Sophie and Ash Smith in memory of their triplet, Henry, Jasper and Evan, who were born prematurely and sadly passed away.

RFPB has raised over $6 million to date, which has funded over 100 pieces of life-saving equipment to hospitals all over Australia, directly benefitting over 8000 babies.

Key information for the 2023 campaign:
● #RunningForPrematureBabies theme round will be Friday 28th, Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th July.
● All NSFA clubs and players are encouraged to participate by purchasing a hat to raise funds for life-saving neonatal equipment (details to come soon) and wear the hat as you run City2Surf or Sydney Marathon Festival.
● Plus snap a photo and tag @runningforprematurebabies on Instagram and Facebook.

NSFA is encouraging its members, teams, and supporters to participate in:

The NSFA are once again supporting the life-saving work of Running for Premature Babies, through our Running for Premature Babies Round on the weekend of 28 – 30 July. We are also encouraging friends and families in our community to join our NSFA teams in either the City2Surf on 13 August and in the Sydney Marathon Festival on 17 September. Funds raised go to urgently needed neonatal equipment, giving sick and premature babies a better chance of survival.
