The NSFA Sustainable Sports Program is collecting football gear on Saturday 12 November 2022 from 9.30-11.30 am at North Turramurra Recreational Area (NTRA) on 361 Bobbin Head Rd, North Turramurra. All gear collected will be donated to an indigenous Wellness through Sport Program for youth this summer, led by Gerry Gomez and a number of ex-Socceroos players.
We are collecting any gear that has a second life – boots, socks, shine-pads, shorts, shirts or jackets. Please ensure that they are washed, clean and ready for action! Please tie-up boots together with their laces, so we keep the pairs organised! Please can you separate children from adults clothes & boots and write the size/s on the bag/s, as this helps the Youth Ambassadors.
NSFA is proud to support the Sustainable Sports Program which was launched in 2021 and in 2023 it is going to be rolled out across NSW – thanks to all the Sustainable Sports Youth Ambassadors for helping to make this happen!
