“The reason for getting involved with NSFA is the ability to enhance the Association’s role, so football remains the major sport choice for people on our District,” he said.

“This requires improved facilities, better engagement with stakeholders, improved acquisition and retention levels, improved perception of ‘value’ by players and growth of NSFA to become the most successful and largest Football Association in NSW.”

“Today players have many choices to make when it comes to what sport they chose to participate. I hope my joining the Board will facilitate players choosing football as their first choice. This requires great engagement and relationship between all participants, stakeholders (clubs, coaches, referees, parents, government, sponsors) as well as improved facilities, high enthusiasm and individual excellence and mentoring.”

“I will strive to ensure we met these requirements and we remain the dominant sport and first choice of all people in our catchment area.”

NSFA would like to thank outgoing Director Sarah Jenkins, for her contribution to the Board over the past four years. Sarah chose not to nominate for this year’s election in order to focus on her new role as President of Lindfield FC.
