2022 Female Football Week Information

Female Football Week is back for 2022 in NSFA in what is set to be another huge year as we head into a World Cup in Australia next year!

2022 Female Football Week runs from Friday, May 6th to Sunday, May 15th.

Female Football Friday – North Turramurra

To kick off Female Football Week on Friday the 6th of May, we will be hosting our much-loved Female Football Friday event at North Turramurra Recreation Area (NTRA)!

In addition to FREE skills and goalkeeper sessions from XLR8 coaches, we will also be hosting a Coaches of the Female Game Workshop and exhibition games between Northern Tigers Girls SAP and NSFA Diamond League teams.

Registrations are required for the Skills and Goalkeeper sessions for coach allocations.

Allowing coaches of the female game to discuss specific strategies to help empower and build confidence within their players.

Female Football Friday – Lane Cove

Female Football Friday expands to a second location in 2022, running on Friday the 13th at Blackman Park in Lane Cove!

In addition to FREE skills and goalkeeper sessions from XLR8 coaches, we will also be hosting a Female MiniRoos Coaching Course and a FREE Women’s Skills Training session, followed by matches for NSFA Women’s and Girls competitions.

Female MiniRoos Coaching Course

The Female MiniRoos Certificate is designed for coaches/managers/volunteers involved with female players in the age groups Under 6 – Under 11. The course is focussed on creating an ENGAGING, ENJOYABLE and ORGANISED environment, to guide our children to fall in love with football.

Running For Premature Babies Fun Run/Walk

Bringing a player down to one of our Female Football Fridays? Grab your runners and join us in a short run/walk in conjunction with NSFA partner Running for Premature Babies!

Girls U6/U7 Come and Try Days

Northern Suburbs Football Association (NSFA) run a fantastic G6/G7 Hub program centred on the player. To learn more about the program, check out the video!
