NSFA are introducing in 2024, a new Girls Under 18 / Girls Under 20 (G18/G20) Competition which will replace the existing Girls Under 18 Age Group.
The competition will build more depth in the age group by increasing the age range to 16 – 20 years and help with player retention given the significantly increased school commitments of participants in the age group.
Our goal is to improve the footballing experience for Female Footballers by providing more balanced and competitive divisions.
There is currently a lack of depth in the Girls Under 18 age group; for season 2023 we only had 11 teams of which only 3 were in the Diamond League Competition.
