In partnership with Dejay Medical and Etac, NSFA is hosting a Frame Football Come and Try Event for players aged 6-16 with a disability or who require assistance or support of a walking frame.
“All at the NSFA are excited to see this program come to life, our Frame Football program will build on the reach we currently have through our Pararoos Development Centre and the great work our member clubs do with the active opportunities program,” said NSFA Community Football Manager Chris Adams.
“Here at NSFA it is a key objective that we look to have programs accessible to everyone to enjoy the beautiful game and benefits of community sport, this come and try event is the first step for Northern Tigers and NSFA to have a Frame Football team to represent the region against other programs across Sydney.”
For those players without a frame, our supporting partners Dejay and Etac will be able to provide players one on the day to use.
“Dejay Medical Team and I are excited to be working with NSFA and Etac to bring Frame Football to life in Australia,” said Leon Gibb, Dejay Rehab Equipment Consultant.
“We believe in empowering people through sports and with Frame Football we can give individuals the opportunity to experience the beautiful game.”
The Come and Try Event will be held on the 7th of May from 9:00am to 10:30am, located at NTRA Hard Netball Courts (North Turramurra Recreation Area).
