OVERVIEW
XLR8 offers year-round football development programs for community footballers within the NSFA, powered by professional and experienced Northern Tigers FC development coaches.
The XLR8 vision is to strengthen grassroots football by providing all community players with the opportunity to access high quality coaching and player development opportunities. In doing so, XLR8 will strengthen the technical foundation for all players within NSFA and raise the quality of football and player engagement with the world game.

Football School
XLR8 Football School operates at various venues throughout the NSFA to provide community players with the opportunity to attend weekly sessions delivered by experienced and accredited XLR8 coaches.
Players are grouped together according to age, friends and skill level to ensure all players achieve maximum development and enjoyment.
Specific Goalkeeper training is also available each day.
Football School – Term 1, 2018
Venue #1 – Lindfield
Mondays (29 Jan to 26 March 2018)
- 4.30pm to 5.30pm – Players born in 2009/2010/2011/2012
- 4.30pm to 5.30pm – Goalkeepers born in 2008/2009/2010/2011
- 5.30pm to 6.30pm – Players born in 2005/2006/2007/2008
- 5.30pm to 6.30pm – Goalkeepers born in 2003/2004/2005/2006/2007
Fridays (2 Feb to 6 April 2018)
- 4.30pm to 5.30pm – Players born in 2009/2010/2011/2012
- 5.30pm to 6.30pm – Players born in 2004/2005/2006/2007/2008
Term Cost: $117 (9 Sessions)
Location: Charles Bean Oval, Eton Road, Lindfield.

Holiday Clinics
Our Holiday Clinics are a fun, safe environment for players to develop their football. Our highly qualified and experienced youth development coaches follow the Football Federation Australia National Curriculum.
Players are grouped together according to age, friends and skill level to ensure all players achieve maximum development and enjoyment.
The clinics run throughout the school holidays and you can choose how many days you would like to attend as well as which day/s suit you.
Specific Goalkeeper training is also available each day.
Small Group Coaching
XRL8 offers small group technical training to provide players an environment of high repetition ball manipulation and mastery techniques, as well as focusing on player technical weaknesses. Groups are no larger than four people.
2018 Small Group Coaching will be run across multiple venues in Term 1 2018, with dates and times currently being finalised.
Women’s Skill Training
Our Women’s Skill Training provides a training environment for all age women to develop their skills and gain a better understanding of the game. Players of all skill and experience levels are welcome.
Tuesday: 9.30am – 10.30am at Willis Centre, Castle Cove
Friday: 9.30am – 10.30am at Willis Centre, Castle Cove
Cost – $15 per session

Goalkeeper Coaching
The XLR8 goalkeeping academy program is delivered through the weekly football school and holidays clinics. Additionally, NSFA clubs have the opportunity to request the goalkeeping academy to deliver sessions at their club.
