Northern Suburbs Football Association (NSFA) and Coachub are excited to announce the launch of XLR8 PLUS, a mobile application designed to provide the local community with group or personal education opportunities.
XLR8 PLUS users can use the app to connect with registered coaches or tutors from a variety of areas including school subjects (English, Maths, Science etc.), languages, performing arts, music and sports.
The app is designed to supplement the NSFA’s XLR8 Player Development programs, which provide football development opportunities to the association’s 16,000+ participants.
“We understand that our community does more than just football, and XLR8 PLUS is our way of assisting them in their other pursuits,” said NSFA CEO Malcolm Waldock.
“In addition, XLR8 PLUS provides our association with another revenue stream that we can use to further invest into our grassroots football activities. It will assist us in keeping football fees lower and enable us to further invest in strategic facilities projects.”
XLR8 PLUS coaches have their qualifications, experience and Working with Children details verified upon registering and all payments are made securely through the app.
Coachub, led by Dave Mitchell (ex-Socceroo) along with co-CEOs Patrick Chye and Ian Cronin, are also pleased to announce an agreement with ActivateUTS from the University of Technology Sydney. ActivateUTS will be supporting Coachub and XLR8 PLUS by providing access to their sporting and academic community as coaches.
“There are so many occasions where we hear how frustrating it is to find a coach or tutor,” said Coachub co-CEO Patrick Chye.
“XLR8 PLUS takes some of the hassles and frustrations away, and we’ve put measures in place to ensure our users can use the app with full peace of mind.”
