Champion of Champions Grand Finals Results

Champion of Champions Grand Finals Results

On Sunday NSFA were represented by a record high of seven teams in the Football NSW Champion of Champions grand final day, held at Valentine Sports Park.

Two of our representatives kicked off the day, with Lindfield and Northbridge participating in the Under 12 Girls and Under 12 Boys finals respectively.

Lindfield lifted the trophy after producing a 2-0 victory against Manly Vale, capping off an impressive campaign which saw them not concede a single goal in all four of their Champion of Champions fixtures.

Unfortunately the remaining junior fixtures saw the Northbridge Under 12 Boys, Mount Colah Under 16 Girls and West Pymble FC Under 16 Boys go down in their respective finals.

In one of the day’s later kick-offs, Northbridge secured the Under 21 Women’s title with a 3-0 win over Connells Point Rovers, securing back-to-back Champion of Champions trophies after winning the Under 16 Girls tournament last year.

Unfortunately the final two NSFA representatives of the day, St. Michael’s Football Club Over 45 Men and West Pymble FC All-Age Men, finished runners-up in their respective finals.

NSFA would like to acknowledge the efforts of all teams to reach this point in the tournament and contributing to a record number of finalists in a season.

Full match reports from all of yesterdays games can be viewed on the Football NSW website.
